I''d try and master the Gear knob removal before you go down that route seriously, think removing Knob is step1 of that process.

OK, nice motors.. COnvention on UK zed's is that any mods get cancelled out by the ECU learning and correcting. People tend to do CAI, (AEM.JWT.etc) , Plenum Spacers (Smooths midrange) and Exhaust mostly for pleasant noises. RS Tuning apprently are just about to be able to flash the ECU I think, there will be a long queue if they prove that they can I think they are in Leeds.

See above, thats not the limiter, thats the shift light And you must still have a limiter otherwise you'd blow your engine up So when you moved the RPM indiacted between (what was it 5500 and 7ksomething) that just determined when the 'change gear now' light came on? anyway, I've never been "limited" Must just have a flair for changing up !

I no longer have th original dials, but I do remeber that you could play with what I thought was a rev limiter adjuster by using the switches on the left of the instrument binnacle. What did that achieve then? (I have no limiter anymore.)
