  1. Thats good, fair play
  2. Hi Craig, may have a few dinks in my passenger door sorted at japfest if you get some spare time
  3. That should be long enough, but i used a plug socket on an extension bar and ratchet, as you may find you need to alter the angle to get at the spark plug. Have one handy just in case. I bought a socket set similar to http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... =ClickInfo from Halfords and its been a god send for working on the zed
  4. Here's a few photo's of mine on the dyno,...... and here's one of the 300zx twin turbo, my dream car many years ago
  5. +1 and of course the zed is a very good looking car
  6. We have loads of meets and events all over the country!! The next South Wales meet is being held on the 28th of June at Aust services by the old severn bridge. And not forgetting the BIG one in North Wales on the 16th and 17th of May, Over 60 cars attending!!!
  7. I bought a set of the denso iridiums from Opie oils last year at Japfest Fitted them myself, which isn't as difficult as you may think. I was advised by some people to take the plenum chamber and lower collector off completely, but unless you like the extra work, or you are adding a spacer at the same time, there is absolutely no need. Take the strut brace and air intake pipe off to start with. Then move the wiring looms on both sides running above the coil packs out of the way. Undo the bolts holding the coil packs in place, and pull them out of the way. Then with a suitable extension and plug socket on your ratchet undo and remove the old spark plugs and replace with the new ones. Do not overtighten A simple nip up is all you need to do. Refit the coil packs and wiring, then the air intake and strut brace, and Bobs your uncle
  8. Here's a pic of the popcharger fitted to my car along with the Summit strut brace and bonnet lifters. There's loads you can do under there but it all adds up.
  9. Check out my post above. The postcode is CH2 4QZ
  10. Here's a link to the route i'll be taking (hopefully ) http://www.streetmap.co.uk/route/routef ... =BB2895200 Done the same route planner on google, and it told me it would take an extra hour!!! It must of calculated for a lesser car than the Z
  11. Mark' i'm seriously worried about you. Thats out of your photo album.
  12. What!!! you want to see a vets arm right up to the shoulder, in a mare's vagina sorry i don't possess said pictures
  13. Get hold of some lubrigel from the vets, very slippery stuff. Now i wonder what they use it for
  14. Kept that quiet
  15. Hi Mike, i had the sunset orange one Yeah, really liked your car, shame it wasn't boosting properly, could of easily gone over 300bhp!!! . What was wrong with it after? Steve.
  16. I'd put them in and see how they sound. Every type of car has different accoustics, so what may sound good in one car may not sound that good in another. I've got 2 set's of Focal K2power which cost quite a lot of money, and were fitted in my type R, they did sound awesome. Hopefully they'll sound just as good when i get round to installing them in the Z
  17. By the way, it took me 6 months to fit my spacer When i eventually got round to doing it, took me less than an hour.
  18. I had 7 more horses after fitting this, it went up from 273 to 280bhp. Used a different company for the second rolling road session so this isn't conclusive. I'm very sceptical about the accuracy of dyno's anyway, no 2 will ever give the same results. In fact my first rolling road gave a torque figure of 252 lbft and this one was down to 240 lbft. Maybe the Fujitsbo exhaust and HKS sports cats have caused the reduction in torque, who knows Not worried though, can't feel the difference, and the sound more than makes up for it.
  19. Here's my dyno report for comparison. Bit weird how i had slightly more at the wheels than Ian, yet less at the fly
  20. Really love the white Zeds, good choice
  21. I'll be there as always 1) Ian 2) CaptainSensible 3) Choptop 4) Sunset350z
  22. Good luck with the search. I always use super unleaded (99ron) from Tesco's
  23. Same here Ian, all my lights went out as i drove off, thank heavens Nice to meet Trev for the first time, really nice guy and looking forward to meeting up in Japfest. Will get some pics up soon.
