  1. Just look at the road stats for Aberdeenshire - About 300k people live in the region and it has pretty much the highest death toll on roads in the UK. I think after the 19 year old lad in a mini cooper died yesterday that was up to 11 or 13 I'm sure for the year. The authorities are happy as the figure has fallen from previous years.
  2. I definitely feel the difference between my Rays and my 20s both running T1Rs. The car is a little heavier on the 20s and the ride is firmer. I wouldn't say it's detrimental though. I know the shortfalls of 20s but have them purely for the looks. Rays for go. 20s for show. Just go in with your eyes open. 19s I'm sure would be a compromise but I've never run them on my car so don't feel I'm qualified to comment.
  3. IanS16 - It IS a skyline.
  4. Quartz is a superb looking colour and the dark wheels just make it. You knew all along that I liked Quartz though! I'm seriously tempted to count my (lack of) pennies.....
  5. I'll maybe give it a purchase......
  6. IAM course is £139 http://www.iam.org.uk/car_driver_member ... e.tpl.html Not as much as you might think..... It at least will equip you to deal with numpties on the road better. The speed limit is a LIMIT. People do not understand that there is a often a need to drive slower than the posted limit. Personally my parents paid for me to do Pass Plus and it was booked the day I passed my test. I was lucky that I got that little heads up at the start of my driving career. My work also make me do defensive driving course each year along with theory and I get skid pan training every two years for free. These little things do make a difference. Being out on a motorbike does make you far more aware of your surroundings as every other road user wants to kill you!
  7. I've seen this one personally and it hangs straight on the car - no fitting issues. Sounds great too in my opinion.
  8. Great product. Makes a HUGE difference to the feel of the brakes. I'd say that these make as much difference as a pad change!
  9. These are what I run on my car and they are spot on! I was told by the Zed gurus (Adam@Z1, BigPhil and ZMANALEX) that these are the only springs worth fitting to a Zed. Bump for a good honest guy!
  10. I was going to download it after seeing it in MCN. At a fiver it looks ok.
  11. You seem to have an awful lot of trouble where you live. I'd either be looking at myself or sticking a for sale sign in the garden.

    Biarritz

Lovely place! Spent a few weekends in Biaritz when I was working (alot) in South West France.
  13. I thought my filter was mounted low!
  14. +1 Fat b4stards unite! I'm sure the rest will be along soon to join the club!
  15. I've said for a long time all this health stuff is bad for you!
  16. So you're in a shed of car with crap brakes and thought it would be a good idea to do 80mph?! They don't have to allow anything. Speeding is a strict liability offence. Plus what was your speedo reading? Speedos are known to over read by 5-10% at 70. My Zed at 80 on the dash pod gives a GPS verified 75mph. Some cars are far worse. If you were doing 80 it's safe to say the speedo was reading 85mph minimum. Now I'm not innocent so I'll say no more.
  17. It's on the right hand dash pod.
  18. I quite want a C4S. I really like the wide bodied facelifted 996!
  19. So next season you'll just have the managers coat on, you'll leave the shorts and footy boots off?
  20. Happy Birthday!
  21. 4WD and I'd have one. And at the badge comments. Really driving a Datsun there is no place to slag off Fords.... If you think otherwise then please debate!
  22. Get those names down then!
  23. I think they will swap straight over..... Are they UK leather seats? Does your seats have airbags?
