You can shave £1200 off that if you shop around. Plus, Ill never be convinced that wax is £8170 better than supernatural. There is no way on earth to justify £8000+ for a tub of carnuba wax. You can buy 1.5kg of 100% pure carnauba wax for less than £25. As Zymol Royale is "only" 70% carnauba wax (which has been bleached white anyway), the other 30% (423g) of the contents in that tub needs to be more expensive than 18K gold to justify over 8 grand. Yet again a load of bull imho. Though I suppose it does help justify a £5k detail.

Yes. Im looking to get the warranty extended too. Can't really complain as it was slightly cheaper than I expected, and to be fair they do continually send me invites to some very nice events, I was scheduled to test pilot a Bentley Supersport last weekend, but being the numpty I was, I went on the Sunday rather than the Saturday that the event was scheduled for Invites to factory tours, track days, the 458 launch, watch the F1 with a buffet type things, etc. I know its buttering me up so I give them business, I'm not blind to it, but Im happy with the service and prices and the fact they at least make me feel my custom was/is valued (unlike other dealerships Ive dealt with ) I know graypaul in Notts is closer, and having been there they are also a professional outfit from my perception and as they are the local authorised tubi dealers, they will also possibly be getting some business if I decide to swap for something a little more noisy

That would be dependent on me having anything other than NXT's wash and wax

Looking at SER the figures still make sense for a double bagger from here - market cap around 15m (was 5m) reserves of over 100m (though thats $), and debt of $4m. Depending on dilution and if there is a placing to generate cash to extract those reserves, there could still be a doubling - but Im not taking any out of my others to do it, and I am not putting any more funds into the pot just yet. If others had been in any significant profit I may have sliced and shifted some, but for now Im sat watching. RMP - recent good rise, but on what basis I dont know - speculation over the signing of the contracts for Georgia (but I reckon thats already priced in) - when it hits AIM that could be good, but waiting to see what dilution if any occurs. RRL - we all know the story on that one ORE - theres gold in them there hills - you can even ruddy see it actually, but no action being taken on getting it out or what levels are actually down there. Keeps being pumped up 10% and down every now and then, but now seems pretty stable at 0.8 ish. SOU - Still seems very undervalued, would like to increase holding, but sticking to above rules for myself I wont unless I see any movement or back to break even from the others. THR - got caught a bit on the pump and dump of this one. As there werent chunks of gold thrown out with the drill bit, people sold on the RNS. I didnt get stung nearly as much as others and am only looking for a slight return to favour before I may drop this in favour of RMP or SOU. Any other baby oilies out there worth looking at, low market cap punts anyone?

Decided to give SER a miss today at 2.3p as I thought it had done its thing already this morning. (it was put on my radar by a simple o/t post at about 9.15, and by the time Id read a bit about them I thought it was a bit risky at 2.35p.) Now 6.25p to sell. I think Ill just go and punch myself in the nuts for a few minutes. Mind you, its dropping back now as the day traders pile out. By dropping back though, its only headed for low 5's by the looks of it. Another double bagger in a day missed

Red mist on top of cured supernatural gives a fantastic finish imho. I wouldnt use Red mist as a quick detailer either, I'd run out way too fast. I do like some Autoglym products, but never tried their rapid detailer stuff. May try it out if I get the chance. I could do with a couple of shampoos for the clenaing kit to be honest. One for a ground up job so it strips wax, and a wax friendly one too. Born to be mild is one Id consider if there is any feedback from people.

Update - just been quoted £895 inc VAT and including pick up and return for mine. I don't consider that too bad to be fair. Hopefully booked in for next week.

I believe a lot of this is all in the marketing, and once youve convinced one millionaire to part with 5k for a correction/detail, then the next one will be easier to convince. I however will never be convinced that a 5k detail will be about 4.5k better than the excellent work turned out by the likes of Envy and Clb.

But that itself is followed by 268, which has this within it: "In congested conditions, where adjacent lanes of traffic are moving at similar speeds, traffic in left-hand lanes may sometimes be moving faster than traffic to the right. In these conditions you may keep up with the traffic in your lane even if this means passing traffic in the lane to your right." -

It is my understanding that if a person is using the incorrect lane (middle for example), and you do not exceed the limit, it is perfectly legal to undertake. -

Its not whether the individual car is illegal, but whether the combined noise of these cars is considered a nuisance by residents. Other road users could see a convoy of cars as a nuisance or "bad behaviour". Individually all the cars could be legal, but all it takes is one copper having a bad day or down on his stats and he could ticket all 50 for causing a nuisance or driving in a manner that they deem inapropriate (convoy). It is then up to us as individuals to argue our innocence, rather than the officer prove 50 counts of guilt in court. I believe this has a lot more implications than just those which are being spouted by the media/police in cracking down on bad drivers. As for the not driving after certain hours, whos paying the dole money of all the 17-21 year olds who work after midnight and would be no nolonger able to do their job? -

Were talking about Americans and their SUV's that are well known for their incredible visibility. I get damned annoyed with people not keeping left on motorways and the polices complete inability to enforce this. The country is spending billions on widening motorways, which is all a complete waste of money in my opinion, and the same eficciencies could be achived by just making sure people keep left. -

So why arent they doing anything about it? They have powers to stop the problem you are having, yet they don't. The new additions will therefor help how? As another note - these additions may also interfere with events such as the Wales drive. 50 cars even driving fully legally but with loud exhausts etc could be construed as a nuicance to some, and what better way to up the stats than get 50 fines and tickets in a single swipe. It will be interesting to see how this develops, but I think there could be serious concequences for organised drives for car clubs. -

So in effect unless they take public transport under 21s would be unable to accept jobs requiring them to work past a certain hour. Any 21-25 year olds that car share to work/university would need to take more vehicles on the road. Industries such as fast food, supermarkets, cinemas and many other industries which employ younger workers would also suffer due to minimum wage differences between 18 and 21. Youth unemployment in these sectors would increase dramatically, and without the ability to gain work experience in these areas, prospects overall would drop for them. I fear whoever is behind these ideas has yet again left their brain at the door on their way in to the meeting. -

Agreed, there will now be no standard or line drawn which dictates what constitutes an offence. It's down to each individual officers interpretation. Its just another way of making targeting the motorist more profitable, as they remove the court administration costs. I guess at present some minor mistakes or infringements may just get you a warning, as the officers don't deem them bad enough to warrant their time at court. Now that they can chalk up a "crime detected/crime resolved" statistic at the side of the road, they will jump on everything to boost their stats. Insurers will be rubbing their hands, everyone will have 3 points. We may as well start with 3 points and just have them deducted if we don't get in any bother. -
Dont know - looks like a similar story to when Rnage released RNS, too much contained, overreaction by some and a following of the herd, coupled with triggering of stop losses, and it drops like a brick. Some people did well though looking at the trades, they hit the bounce just right - Bought at 181p 15 minutes ago and the sell is now 219. 20% gain in about 10 minutes. Not bad if you caught it.

Rear wiper isnt part of the MOT, but I suppose best changed at same time if it needs it.

Could you pass your theory test again?
Chesterfield replied to MadMac's topic in Off Topic Discussion
See - we're testing people on how they should indicate their intentions to other road users when their indicators are broken - but when someone is indicationg that they are turning, they say we shouldnt trust them and should wait and see what they do. What a hypocritical test. Not that Im bitter about getting one wrong. -

Chesterfield replied to MadMac's topic in Off Topic Discussion
Nope - I'd go on speed of the vehicle (specificaly if its slowing down or not) and have I got time to get out and put my foot down if they are a twonk thats indicating for no reason. If the official line is not to trust indications on vehicles and we should just watch what they do, then again, whats the point in indicators? As for people not indicating half the time, thats what Im saying - we have no choice but to wait and see what they are doing if they aren't indicating. The clue is in the name we've given the flashing amber lights on the vehicles. "Indicators". They are designed to "indicate" your intentions to other road users so they can take appropriate action. Perhaps they should now be renamed "posibles" as in "Im possibly turning right, Im possibly not". Or "Guesticators"? -

49 out of 50. The one I got wrong was that I said I would pull out slowly at a T junction when a vehicle was approaching and indicating it was turning in. Apparently I should wait until it start turning. Which beggars the question, whats the f***ing point in indicators if we arent supposed to take any action on the signal and just wait and see what the driver does?! -

Anyone can cram enough to get through a "theory" test. Its what happens in practice that counts. Neve had to do a theory test in my day either -

Perhaps you could find a ford (the river/road kind) and drive back and forth through it to clear any matter which may be left and causing smells? -
The thing is with the fezza you can extend the warranty each year for up to 7 or 8 years, and although I dont expect that to be cheap either, I suspect it would be cheaper than a repair bill. Im currently requesting pricing info from the dealers on servicing & extending the warranty, Im also wanting to book it in for a couple of bits under warranty, one of which they said would be covered which is some peeling protective film under the luggage compartment and in the door jams, and also a spot of condensation in each headlight. Dont know if they will cover the latter, but worth a try. They will usually come and collect and return it on a covered trailer too - which again is convenient.
-
The fezza is in for a service soon too. That should be fun
