  5. Follow it for long enough and you'll get past it when its loaded onto the back of the AA truck.
  6. If the lack of front number plates is a security concern, its to be hoped that criminal masterminds never discover motorbikes . shhhh.
  7. Absolute crap. They spin this "its for security" line all the time like we havent got brains. Of course criminals wanting to hide themselves will be doing things like removing their front number plates, mis spacing plates etc. Yeah sure... Thats what these criminals do to hide, all the stuff that gets you pulled over..... Its to get the stats on crimes detected/resolved up and thats all. "Security" my left nut.
  8. Indeed, a zonda was less when first released. Found this:
  9. Same with the 430 - the coupe and spider will probably exactly the same in performance. I think in the 430 the coupe is better loking than the spider, but in the 458 the spider is better loking than the coupe - but would be nice to see it with the top up. Though it will probably never be taken out on days when you would have the top up anyway However, the Aventador would be my choice right now. The distinct problem with the Aventador however is that its in a whole new price bracket, even from the 458. The thing is that in time the 458 will just become one of the family - 348, 355, 360 430, 458, xxx, xxx etc etc.... The small lamborghinis are now going this way too, and its only if you go for the big brother Lambos that you get an "iconic" car regardless of its age - Countach, Diablo, Murci, LP640, Aventador. They are all iconic cars in their own right and dont blend into a line of cars. We may start to see some 458 coupes being part-ex'd now. Either way, with just having got our planning applications approved, chopping in the 430 as part ex for anything other than bricks, cement and roof tiles right now is not going to happen. That and the fact the price difference from the 430 to an Aventador or 458 spider requires a lottery win
  10. Agree - either 458 Spider or Aventador in white ....
  11. When swapping the Jag for something a little less ostentatious and footballer-esque, I thought Id fit it out with something subtle...
  12. The US dont half make me laugh. Their immigration/visa restrictions are so tight it is unbelieveable. Yet if they did kick out al the immigrants, half the southern states economies would collapse overnight. They really are a bit fik.
  13. Diesel is more expensive, and the cars cost more in the first place too. The insurance is also likely to be higher on the 1.7-1.9 diesel. 1L petrol Micra will be a lot cheaper than the diesel option imho.
  14. Surely something meets specification or it doesn't. Whats this "OK" section on the sheet? Should that be roughly translated as "Ahh, that's close enough"
  15. We have received an acknoledgement and proposed solution to the issue and will be passing this on to the OP. As such thread locked and title changed to reflect. Hope thats ok with all.
  16. I piled some more in at 9.5p too in order to offset some of my higher purchases so have also limited the losses. somewhat now. Others are now picking up too so losses are around half what they were a few days ago. If Range continue their rapid recovery, I may bail out the extra shares i bought at 9.5p and put the profits into others that have not yet bounced back as rapidly.
  17. Ever since G20 and the evolution of "human rights" the fact that criminals rights are put ahead of or on equal standing to the victims or the police, they are more scared of facing charges themselves than getting injured by wading in. The police should be given permission to get their visors down, rip off their badge numbers and wade in with full force. The problem is we now live in a society where its always someone elses fault. There always has to be a scapegoat or some reason why a person has committed a crime. It simply cant be because they are a dickhead. Even when people are cought and convicted, there is no real punishment and prison for the most part is better than Butlins. Ever watched an episode of police camera action and seen someone stopped who has no insurance, no license, no tax and no MOT? What do they get - a driving ban... Wow. what a deterrent. A ban for someone who is driving without a license anyway. That same pathetic level justice is metered out for just about everything. Remember the illegal imigrant that drove over somoene killing them and didnt have a license. The human rights act allowed him to appeal and ultimately stay in the UK. Thats whats caused the problem. No deterent, no punishment and criminals are given all the rights and publicly funded assistance to argue their case. If it carries on like this for long, I can see a small scale civil war, those who understand right and wrong Vs those that have no moral compass.
  18. We dont delete the posts unless they are abusive, personally harrasing or illegal. It will allow debate.
  19. I've seen bankers make £1m bonuses while my investments this year are showing a very large 5 figure loss. Ive seen local politicians vote to keep double the average allowances whilst reducing the services they provide in our area. The banks use money placed in them by all parties (even criminals if they put their money in a bank) to invest, they dont launder it or indeed weapons/drugs. And all this has happened while Ive had my pants down for tax bill that makes my eyes water. Am I outraged. Yes. Am I burning buildings and stealing from honest businesses - no Im not. Why? Because I wasnt raised as a completely moronic brainless tw*t. We've had decades of "we must learn to interact with these people", "we need to understand what drives these people to their behaviour", "we shouldnt punish them, its because of their troubled childhod" hippy, blameless, zero punishment, zero deterrent society - which has spawned now a 2nd/3rd/4th generation of people who know no morals, no concept of punishment, right/wrong etc. The only language they understand is their own mindless violence. Most of them wont even know what a slapped arse feels like, so a couple of rubber bullets to the face should calm them right down.
  20. These actions /riots /lootings are an absolute disgrace. What on earth must our soldiers be thinking, risking and often giving life and limb to protect the freedoms of our country - yet our own citizens destroy our communities from within... If there is any vigilante army put together to put these utter scum of society in their place then count me in. Id quite happily buy a surplus tank/apc and mow down the lot on any given high street. Absolute disgustig subhuman animals that need removing from society. I dont care if they use real bullets never mind rubber ones. These morons aren't ever going to grow up to become pillars of society, doctors, nurses or find a cure for cancer. The whole country would be better on average if they were eradicated. Sure some tree huggers would be upset for a decade or two, but we would get over it in time and be better of for it.
  21. The guy that was his mate was a guy I know's cousin so I am going to find out who he is and where he stays, one way or another he will be paying. Tell the police you wish to file for criminal damage, or get a solicitor to write to the police stating you wish to sue for criminal damage. That way you will get to know his home address as it will have to be returned to your solicitor in order to begin proceedings. Job jobbed.
  22. T20 for me to lower the average seems the only way to go. As I was late to the RRL and averaged up like a twonk at 24, my average is 20.3 on those. So a current price of 9p does not make for pleasant viewing. Its been a bloodbath on the markets though, small oilies have not come off well. The silver lining is that whatever this crisis brings, those companies that are already funded for drills should be able to bounce back fairly well. Cars will still need fuel tomorrow, and we wont stop burning gas overnight either.
  23. I was fairly late to the RRL party. Also bought a bunch when it went well over 20, so my average is now just over 20 iirc. Im not going anywhere near my portfolio page to work it out today - it will just make me sick. Oilies have been hammered today - many are well into double digit % drops. The markets in general have reacted badly to bank losses, Eurozone debt crisis looking like its spreading etc... Its a cash is king day all round. Time to leave them alone and come back in 3/4 months.
  24. Where's that length of rope gone..... Oh my god its gone bad on oilies. I even decedid to have a punt on Solo at 1.29. ffs Everything apart from RMP is showing a loss. A large loss. RMP will probably go red when the ASX catches up too, got in those at the equivalent of 21p. Currently sat at 23 now.
  25. Yep - notouriously thin on the Z (indeed Nissans in General). Readings vary considerably too (in % terms), around the car. My lowest is about 120 and highest around 170 iirc. Dont make a habbit of machine polishing the car, and if you do, make sure its done by a pro, as burning through the paint on the Z is VERY easy.
