Shame its not a multiplayer demo, could have been fun racing a bunch of Z's around, but Im sure we will when the time comes. Just one issue with the demo, and that they haven't included the best colour
-
Hmm yes I can see your point, the number may attract some. Though Ill choose to ignore it, being an in between number myself
-
I dont think the numbers were handed out in any particular order. They bear no resemblence to the order they were registered in, or built in, as far as I am aware. Could be wrong though.

I think he was just blinded by their stunning looks by the time he got to yours.

Mines 4mb, but its borked at the moment, acting like a 512k, had to start the download this morning and wait until I got home to have a go.

You cant do any modifying on the demo - full game 8th June.
-
Its been on since 10am. Its good too - quite a few cars to choose from, including the Z - but sadly no Yellow. Once the full game is out, if you come across a Yellow Z with the 350z-uk.com logo plastered all over it whilst you are racing online, that will be me
-
Where have you found one of those for £25k?

That Katie is a twonk. The comment that got my back up was something like "he needs to be back up north with his Northern friends where he belongs". How Ill laugh when she gets the boot. -
That david bellamy pose has just made my sides ache laughing - Hillarious pictures! Looks like a very interesting job indeed. Doubt there are any other legal ways you could get your photo taken amongst such foliage.
-
You called.... That sig is waaayyy to big....
-
Val - can we fit in the Millau Viaduct and the Monaco GP circuit! Its a long way but think of the photo's !! perhaps a couple of days or so to take in those extra sights - do we need to be there for the whole show in Spa? Oh - Im not going on the ring either - but Ill gladly have a ride in a ring taxi! Got a decent camera specially for this run now!

Id seal the door on the loft and forget you have that space up there.
-
Im sorry - but if I found that in my loft Id move. I bloody hate the things, anything bigger than a thumbnail and Im running off looking for something to squash the beasts with. If I climbed my loft ladder to be greeted by that, I would probably do something involuntary.... and messy.

Its not possible to limit signature picture sizes based on the location those pictures reside in - otherwise its a good suggestion. There are those that check whilst away from their usual location, and those on Pay-as-you-go internet connections, which are affected by larger file sizes. Yes I agree we should practice what we preach - but its such a nice picture I cant bear to change it. I personaly think having a size limit in place is a good thing as it does keep the place less cluttered, though obviously people may think the limit is set at the wrong levels - what size would you consider reasonable if it were up for review?
-
The bandwidth is an interesting point, as images hosted on photobucket dont count toward usage, but those hosted on members own galeries do - so in order to prevent those that are hosted on this server from overloading the bandwidth, that is one reason for the rule. The other is that it just looks more tidy (as stated above). With everyone able to use a standard size signature, or at least a signature within a set size bracket it keeps things less cluttered. Also, the smaller size makes for a faster loading forum (as long as the file size remains normal for a 500x100px image), for when people may not be viewing from a broadband enabled site. Hey - look at it this way, at least you get to debate our rules here!
-
You sure you want the Greddy kit?
-
its too big Well done on getting it online though! Got there in the end. Just need to come up with a design that fits the 500x100 rule - maybe crop the plane out and resize? Now you have the hang of pics - you can take some of the Z and get them up!
-
As the subject of adding pictures to a signature comes up quite regularly, Ive replaced the previous topic in the forum help section with a guide that should hopefully help people through the process: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=94777

The guide below shows you eaxctly how to put a picture in your signature: First of all, please remember that signature pictures should be no larger than 500 pixels wide by 100 pixels tall. This keeps the forum looking neat and also allows it to load fairly quickly on members computers that may not have broadband capability. Step One - decide what you want Right, first of all we start with what is probably the most difficult step. Choosing your picture. Thats your choice to make - if you are stuck for ideas, have a look at what other members use. Step Two - create and save Make sure its the right size and save it. Remember 500x100 is the limit. If you want to resize an image, it can be done in MS paint, or various other graphics oriented programs. If you are struggling with creating the image you want to use - ask some of the members for help - there are a lot of creative and helpful people around who will be glad to help. Step Three - storing the image online The most common method used to store the image online is by use of a photobucket account. This is a free site that allows you to store your images online. To sign up for a free photobucket account, visit http://www.photobucket.com Once you have signed up you can upload your image to photobucket. All the instructions showing how to upload an image to your photobucket account are present on the photobucket site Step Four - adding the image to your signature here Right - now the bit you have been waiting for..... When you have uploaded your chosen image to photobucket, you will see that underneath the image, there are three boxes containing text or code. It is the bottom one of the three we are interested in. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You need to copy the contents of that box ready to place into your signature.... Now its time to follow the steps needed on the forum to insert the picture as part of your signature... The picture below has numbered steps (described below the picture) - follow these and you should have your signature picture done in no time... 1. Edit you profile by first clicking "User Control Panel". 2. Click the "Profile" tab. 3. Click the button "Edit signature" 4. Remember the code we copied from underneath our picture in the photobucket account? The white text area on the right (in picture above) is where we will put it. Once pasted into that area it should look something like the above picture. 5. Now you need to click the submit button. This will save your changes. If everything has gone to plan, you will find that you now have your chosen image as a signature to your posts. Any problems please dont hesitate to ask any member of the team for help.
-
Can you post up the contents of the third box down underneath your pic on photo bucket? Ill add it to your sig for you and see what the problem is so you can change it in future.

Just a note to let you know I've just ordered a couple of bodykit parts via Z1, Adam and his staff are thoroughly pleasant to deal with. Just sat here like an expectant father waiting for my precious cargo to arrive
