  1. The GT4 is the 300BHP version. It has the 06 engine in the 05 exterior. If the car was registered prior to 23 march 2006 (which the majority of GT4's are) then it has the added bonus of being in Band F car tax (£205), and not band G (£400 in 2008, £300 in 2007). Sorry to see that this one wasnt up to scratch. If it helps just about ALL stone chips on 350Z's regardless of colour go down to the white primer, I have a few on my yellow, and also some harsh ones on the bumper will go down to the plastic. Bottom line is the paint just plain sucks on the 350Z, and the shape of the front end doesnt help matters when it comes to avoiding stone chips. Any leather issues can usually be cleared up with some good TLC with leather clean and leather feed. Unless its already cracked, then its probably too late. The coroding of the top of the gear lever is common too, although they could have cleaned the previous owners dead skin out of it Mine was not in tip top condition either, the laquer was all but gone - a dremel and some autosol sorted it out though. For that mileage and in the condition you describe, Id expect a couple of grand off that price at least, even at a main dealer.
  2. Yes we went to the BRD stands too. It was a good view from the far side though, plenty of opportunity to get pictures for people. Mind you, at the speed you were going Val I could have taken shots from the slimest of vantage points anywhere on the track I considered asking the marshalls if they would let me jog alongside to get just the right shot. And I can't jog for toffee.
  3. That was a marathon round to the other side. Did it again later in the day to get some shots of another track session and the club time attack.
  4. It was taken after the parade lap, I think Liam left before the parade
  5. We also have a discount with Craig Mudd of Muddy Detail. http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8121 Did Jonathans car here: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7821
  6. From the 18th to 22nd we will be at Nurburg. After that its the long drive home
  7. Yay - I was thinking that video was going to end before the last row (myself and another couple of cars). But nope - there I am - centre of the last row through.
  8. I think Ive managed approx 300-400 photos today. (you cant tell Ive got a new camera can you). Also 20 minutes of video from the mornings track time. Give me a little time and Ill post em up
  9. Over a tenth of a million posts on the site in total, and that doesnt include deleted test posts etc, so I guess some folk must like what we have here.
  10. Actually things are looking up - 2 out of the three memory cards turned up - although they were all despatched same day - and fortunately its the two "better" ones. 2GB extreme III. Just got to sort a tripod tomorrow morning - but if someone wants to stick one of those in the car it may help as I may have a little too much on to tomorrow to find time, that would be much appreciated.
  11. 20 would be plenty for everyone I should think.
  12. If people are OK with it in B&W, Ive got a laser sat here doing not a lot. Probably look the business in colour to be honest. Havent got one of those in the office, no need for us.
  13. They havent come across me before. We ordered a couple of FR's, and will be looking for more company vehicles in the very near future. Seat have a choice if they wish to retain any possibility of me buying any more fleet vehicles from them, ever. Im currently giving myself 50/50 on having this replaced. Failing that, any squeak, rattle, knock, missaligned panel or tiny issue what so ever and its going back in. I have plenty of time to make myself a royal pain in the arse for its entire 3 year warranty.
  14. Update... Brake pads turned up - UPS had deliverd them to the wrong address. And here is the funny bit.... They couldnt deliver them to the bakers, or the leisure centre... oh no.... The place they delivered them too was a motor factors 400 yards away - who just happen to stock ebc pads, thousands of them. And they had an ebc delivery that day. Half hour stock check later, they find they have an extra set and hand mine over. Not so happy ending on the Altea. Its having its dashboard removed to find/fix the fault. Ive expressed my dissatisfaction with this and have advised that although they should continue with the work, I will be writing to head office demanding a replacement vehicle. Any other product on the face of the planet would be exchanged should it develop a fault of this nature. Not ripped apart. Sale of goods act and smal print examination here we come. I also have the distinct advantage that some good friends also ordered an Altea which arrived with faulty ECU. They couldnt fix within a week so ordered a replacement vehicle, so setting a precedence. I feel a coming on.
  15. Top idea - my heads that busy I didnt think of that.
  16. Guys - the proverbial has hit the fan at work and I cant look at this right now - sorry to let you down but can someone else get this sorted for us? Transparent text boxes over the image in word is probably the way to go. Also the image can be resized by 50% before putting into word without losing quality (you could print it A3 now full size). Ta, Chris.
  17. That was my idea but Adobe is having none of it. Ill try word and see what happens - may have to stick with the1.5mb version for now.
  18. Im looking forward to a good day at Silverstone on Sunday as Im ready from a break! 1. Altea with Seat for a week now and they still havent found the fault. Had an update that they have now narrowed it down to two circuits causing the batery drain. Which would be great if thats the problem I took it in for. The issue was it blew several circuits. Which strangely enough included the sensors for the doors that activate the interior lights - perhaps thats the battery drain.. "oh, err, we'll get back to you sir..." 2. Brake pads that I want for driving round europe UPS have managed to deliver, but certainly not to me, and to somone with a surname that doesnt match anyone in our building.. 3. High vis jackets needed for europe trip, bought from ebay over a week ago - not delivered, no response from seller - only a couple of quid, but not really the point. 4. Memory cards for new camera, 6GB worth in total. Ordered seveal days ago, 3-5 day delivery so should be here for Sundays show in order for me to take LOTS of pics and get some good shots for us. Email yesterday states despatched only yesterday - 3-5 days means not here for Sunday - so limited to 1GB card for the day. Fed up - annoyed and generally in a bad mood. On the plus side, it is the weekend. Though that means Ive 5 working days left to sort out all the stuff I need to do in the office before my break.
  19. Hmm yes - just trying to get it in a form thats not going to cause massive bandwidth issues.
  20. Got the form, sorting it out to host now.
  21. email sent, let me know if you get it ok Nope not arrived. Strange. Ill pm you my work email.
  22. Whats all this then.... I dont drive the Altea! Well not since last week when it threw a fit and blew half the electrics. Im in a lovely Ibiza! The missus does the daily drive in the Z as its much shorter, and she has a better parking space Unless she has an after work appointment that requires her parking somewhere remotely dodgy, and Ill have it for the day.
  23. Point them in the direction of this thread and examples of the leather they can have fitted for £500. Which Im sure is less than they will be spending to get a GT spec.
