    Zouthern Meet

There wasn't a meet to speak of, but the breakfast club was utterly heaving and over spilled several rows deep in the field at the back. 600+ cars my guess. A top morning browsing and speaking to a few owners.

  5. Hi peeps. im new here. i have a 350z with greddy twin turbo kit on a vqde. its 2004 and the kit is around 2006 or so.its the old greddy kit with td05Sh . my question is with the fitment of a bash bar for some structural support.as this has a 4inch deep intercooler ,the original oem bash bar has been removed. i was wondering what other people are using. i have seen some modifications of original oem cross bars and custom bash bars but not really finding anything that in terms of bash bars fits around the intercooler without modifying it. i have seen the mmg bash bar and looks a good fit for what i need and have contacted them for some dimensions but they replied,"its not how this works, you fit the bash bar then the intercooler." so i dont want to fit the intercooler to the bash bar, and i have visual access to the support mounts for the bash bar. the intercooler is the greddy evo, 2 ins and 1 out, 4inch depth.i havnt stripped the bumper off yet to measure intercooler as moving soon and will have a garage. cant find the intercooler on trust or greddy anywhere as its old school. its not a drift car for comp, will be for shows.also will be fitting the top secret v2 bodykit i have(genuin one) any thoughts on which bash bars will fit and takes the ts bumper too? cheers

  10. Thanks for your valuable tips. I have read the entire post and extracted a result from the post that you want to help car owners so they can easily take care of their cars. You intend to save their money and prepare them to take right decision at the right time. I am working with Arctic Dry Ice and noticed that most of the time car owners aren't aware of their lack of knowledge; they ruin their cars' health, and I think that in that way your post can be helpful to them. You did a great job; best of luck.
  11. I understand your concern and worries that you are not making any decision at the moment. If you are looking for an engine bay service provider satisfy you and resolves your problems. Arctic Dry Ice can be a good option for your, offer dry ice cleaning services in Derby and the nearby area.
  12. Falcon Performance in Middlesbrough. We have 3 zeds in at the moment 👍
  13. Old thread i know but i just removed my oil cooler and a ball fell out. I'm guessing this relief valve has fallen apart? 2004 350Z
  14. Somerset and Devon I've only ever seen mine and 1 other. Law of averages says there must be several hundred. Quite a lot of 350s.
  15. I see 350z in Devon & Cornwall quite often, 370z is rare tho
  16. AB Autoworks is a great one, though down in Halifax, so still bit of a trek for you. Sorted gallery gaskets and all sorts on my zed, I'll be back there soon for a diff bush. Always loads of zeds in. https://www.facebook.com/abautoworkshalifax/?locale=en_GB
  17. I've not used them but might be worth having a look at Takumi Autoworks on the Brunswick Industrial Estate.,
  18. Hi and welcome 😁

  21. Hi ShortPaul, No, I am based in the Midlands (Derbyshire)
  22. I have buildthread on the swedish ford forum. In swedish of course but there is alot of pictures if anyone is interested. Sadly the forum flips my cellphone pictures all over the place so its kinda anoying. https://www.fordclubsweden.se/forum/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=84816&start=360 Sunday 6 is dynoday. I'llreport back then. Will be interesting to see how my headers and upper intake will perform. Not runing a maf so intake is also alot bigger than stock aswell. (3.5" with 6.8" velocitystack). Still stock throttlehousing thou. Regards Jimmy

  24. 3 hour drive, alas there aren't many Nissan specialists up your neck of the woods.
  25. Thanks for the input but Derby’s a bit of a stretch from Newcastle. Thanks for the input though👍
  26. I have mine booked in for mot on Sunday. Its a motorway journey. I shall report back.
  27. So I made the decision a couple of years ago when my old Ford V6 wasnt performing the way I wanted to swap in a complete 350z drivetrain into my Sierra track car. Swap is done now. Was allot of work to make everything fit. Had to make all the stuff myself so took a good 3 years. But basicly diy longtube headers/complete exhaust, upper part of plenum+intake pipe, rear sump oilpan, engineloom since i went standalone ecu. Fuelrails, coolingsystem etc. Basicly heads and engine block are the only thing I didnt touch. Enlarge gearbox tunnel to make the cd009 fit. Going to dyno it 5-6 september. Clip of it from the other day.
  28. Is there much drone with a miltek on the motorway, around 2-2.5k My Cobra has been on a while now and getting close to decibel limit at certain tracks, reads upto 106db whilst it sounds amazing coupled with the rest of my setup, the drone around 2-2.5k can be ear bleeding at times on long journeys. I either have to drop a gear to 5th so 70mph is around 3k or go 80mph+ in 6th, neither is ideal. I dont think swapping the mid pipe back will lose too many horses if any but if the sound and drone decrease should be worth it,
