  3. Me and pal are booked up for this next month if anyone is up for a go. https://trackobsession.co.uk/product/donington-park-evening-track-day-18-07-2024/
  4. Braided lines help in 2 ways one is brake feel the other is heat resistance so they will make a difference which you may or may not feel, they can be a pain to do as unions may not undo as well as they used to. I bought a second set of pads for my 370z two years ago. They are still in the box
  5. Yeah fair enough probably will just start with pads then and see how that goes. Think I’ll definitely get the ds2500 pads. Would you bother swapping the pads out for another set for Road use or is that over the top? I occasionally daily the car but am lucky enough to have a van for the daily most of the time. Do you run braided lines too or are there any other brake mods you’d recommend? Just seen your video btw 👌🏼
  6. Just been looking at the AD09s on a few review pages and they seem like the best option for me for what I need it for plus they’re slightly cheaper too. I have researched about square setups a bit and seem to get mixed opinions on it but seems like it helps with any understeer. might be a silly question but does it affect the appearance much? Not sure if the fronts will stick out much or is it not noticeable? (Not that I’m really bothered just curious) bear in mind it’s still got stock suspension but I will be looking at changing for coilovers and adjustable arms in the winter anyway. Would you still slightly stagger the tyres on a square setup? Looks like you have to go for at least 245 on the front for an 18inch on demon tweets to unless I’m mistaken.
  7. Depends on the model of your car. The DE has 2 cam position sensors, the Rev Up has 4 as does the HR. Just replace the faulty one with a genuine Nissan part.
  8. Hi :) I’m in the market for some headlights.. 350z. Got anything that I can make use of? Mine are not well…

  9. Hello All, After a long time away from anything fun, I have managed to pick up a Nissan 370z that admittedly, needs a little TLC. Some information on the car, it is a 58 reg Japanese Import, base spec (Version T) with a few options, in Yellow. Onto the reason for this post. There are a couple of issues I am hoping someone here would be able to help me with. I will list them below: The clocks are in japanese (not the ones on the dash, just the instrument dial cluster behind the steering wheel). I have purchased a set of UK dials - is it as simple as a plug and play swap? Do I need anything else for them to work correctly? - I have seen another post similar to this where the closing post is to "learn to read japanese", not really helpful or constructive. The car is an auto, and the gearbox works perfectly fine in Drive however, the manual mode does not engage. I have tried moving the gear selector across into the manual position and pulling on the steering wheel paddles, but it doesn't register. I would really appreciate some help on where to go with this, is it as simple as a fuse/wire? Or is it a complicated fix? The steering wheel has no buttons for audio, telephone or cruise control. How big a job would it be to retrofit the controls, and activate this functionality? The car does not have the built in sat nav, it is the base model so has an aftermarket double din headunit which I will be changing to one that outputs in English. I have not changed this yet as whether or not I can wire in the controls back to the steering wheel may dictate on which head units are suitable? I'm guessing the retrofitting of cruise control would be the most difficult of jobs here? These are my main queries for now. I look forward to getting to know you all in the near future, and I appreciate any advice and help you can provide. Kind Regards, Ver.4
  10. Hello folks, had my local garage plug in to see what was behind my engine mgt light. They said camshaft sensor. Am I right in thinking that there is more than one and I should replace all? if so.. what do people recommend? is this a known issue or have I got something exciting going on?
  11. Was the autoglym any good? I see you replaced them later.
  12. Probably easier to change to seat bracket to an extra low one rather than the steering wheel. I'm quite small though so no idea what any of that's like, you can lend me a few inches if you want (not down there... we're all good)
  13. Hi all, Bit of an odd one, I am absolutely loving the car but the steering wheel and height/positioning of the seat mean whenever I make sharp turns or want to rotate the wheel fully I will inevitably come in contact with my legs - I'm 6'3 and while it's not a major issue it has got me thinking of anyone else thats tall and has driven one, did you change your wheel? are there other recommendations? Thank you!
  14. Hello everyone, We're excited to announce that we've made significant progress with DEPO Taiwan to produce the highly sought-after DEPO 350z headlights in right-hand drive specifications for the UK market. We're now looking to understand buyer interest. If you still have your OEM lights or any LHD lights, would you be interested in the DEPO 350z RHD lights? Please let us know by participating in this quick poll. Your feedback is valuable to us! Thank you.
  15. Very nice. Also good to see you are keeping fed whilst grafting...🤣
  16. No worries. It obviously wasn't a Nissan OEM W brace at that price.
  17. Thanks for that.. got the brake discs from Mintex front are rears for £250. they were also selling undercarriage W brace for £133. ordered these today here for weekend Thanks
  18. So I've started the tedious process of wrapping the car - totally in love with the colour even if it is a bit loud. Even while installing it I still think paint is king - but for a cheap colour change that doesn't look half bad it well worth it
  19. Not a big fan of diffusers for my car - I like showing off all the shiny suspension components aha I do like spats, may have to do something with that
  20. Last week
  21. That drone footage is awesome! Thanks for posting that mate, wish i had danced or something now when i saw the drone flying over. 😆
  22. I always run a stock disc on track, it's the pads that do most of the work, if you were getting fade it will be your pads, so if your going ferod hopefully ds2500 oor similar. Tyres I'd just go for an uhp tyre PS4s, eagle F1 etc, more than capable and great in wet or just going to the shops. When Misha ragged my z at nurburgring hitting 160mph was just using stock discs but had ebc rp1 pads and on eagle F1 supersports without issue
  23. Ditto re the 255 rears, ideally all you'd want is a square setup ie x4 rear wheels all round. Personally I'd go for the new AD09, they'll be more than enough grip for a 350z plus last circa 35% longer.
