This would fit in with the rumoured clause in his McLaren contract preventing him from driving for a top team as Honda sucked last year. Honda finished 8th while Renault were 3rd.

 

If it happens I would expect Rubens to be sent to Super Aguri.

I'd read that Ruben's was going anyway. He's been very poor for Honda, so no loss. Button can leave and the end of 2008 before the contract ends as he has a clause in it allowing him to leave if Honda has a poor performance

I had a wish, or a dream, or a preminition a while back that Button joined Hamilton at McLaren to make a mighty GB duo at the GB(ish) team. Then we'd get to see how good Button really is...... Apparently he is very good. ?? ? ?? ??

That would be interesting, Button & Hamilton racing, my money would be on Hamilton winning, think Button's lost the desire.

I would expect Honda to be a lot better this year. With Ross Brawn in charge and the financial power of Honda who knows.... although they're MotoGP bikes sucked for the majority of last year too!

Honda have denied the report and say driver line up was confirmed for 08 back in July.
