To be fair it doesn't do every time on mine, just when I first logged on today so I threw a hissy fit because I hate the obtrusive piece of crap

It asks you once, then each time aftera you have cleared your cookies/browser history.

Err, if that's what you're telling the Mrs, yeah totally could be that.

 

Otherwise, no I don't think so. I think the forum remembers your choice and cookies it, until it detects you don't have the cookie and then prompts you again.

 

Good of you to be shopping for surprise wife presents like that and remembering to clear your history down

I get asked the same on my iPad, but only when I've come out of safari to go to Facebook or another app. Then when I go back to Safari I get asked about tapatalk and have to log into the forum again.

Not that I know of. I just checked in my iPad settings for safari and nothing appears untoward
