JetSet Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Of course, the Radio Caroline that I listened to was different to the one down south. Radio Caroline North was anchored somewhere in The Irish Sea and covered a completely different area mainly North West England, North Wales and possibly Southern Scotland. It was almost impossible to pick up Caroline South, Radio London, Radio City, Radio Atlanta or 270 up here on a transistor radio in the day time although it did improve after dark for some obscure technical reason, which I forget now . I was able to get decent reception of the southern channels by cunningly running a coaxial cable to the TV aerial from my parents stereogram which were quite popular in the 60's Pete 1 Quote
