StevoD Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 (edited) Yes, but why not 4wd when it was the current car, a true rally rep, like Evo, Impreza, Celica etc as they did with the Escort? Just seems a strange decision to do it now because when the RS came out they had already turned to the fiesta Edited February 5, 2015 by StevoD Quote

Justthejedi Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Does nothing for me, big fat backside just like all the other hot hatches, they all look the same these days. That's why I lost interest in BTCC, back in the nineties you could clearly see the different models but now every car looks the same, all from the same mould. Quote

Cars are looking too alike lately, especially the hatchbacks. I think they used to look less alike back in the 90's. Seems like manufacturers have been copying each other a lot and they're not trying to stand out as much. Edited February 6, 2015 by pjf1985 Quote
Ekona Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Manufacturers are bound by the safety rules imposed by various bodies around the world, including the EU. Given that they have to have certain things like pedestrian crash zones etc, it's not surprising that a lot of stuff looks broadly the same. Pretty much the same as F1 give or take, they all look identical until you start looking at them very closely. Quote

Zeezeebaba Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 I had a Mk1 RS and I like the Mk2 but I'm not to keen on this new 4 door only version. Little tip Mr Ford use the three door fiesta platform, wide body it and put a modified 1.6 turbo lump in it. RS Fiesta would sell well IMO. 1 Quote
