Mikey Thompson Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Hey, Out of interest could you weigh the boot or do you know how much lighter it is compared to the stock boot? Thanks Hold a wardrobe in one hand, and a bag of sugar in the other. There, you're in the right ball park. 2
Neilp Posted February 17, 2015 Author Posted February 17, 2015 Pretty awkward to weigh however I could hold it with one finger. The oem boot takes two or three men.
hensh65 Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Pretty awkward to weigh however I could hold it with one finger. The oem boot takes two or three men. You do have an extraordinaryly strong finger though 1
The Chubby Ninja Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 and an extraordinary smelly finger 2
Mark@Abbey m/s Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 I interested in the boot lid. What's the price at the moment? Have you had it prefitted? Does it fit nice not twisted? Could you deliver it to Aberden to Clark Motorsport for me if we can work a deal? Thanks
Neilp Posted March 1, 2015 Author Posted March 1, 2015 Hi Mark, The boot lid is £475 at the moment. The boot fitted perfect on the car it came from however it hasn't been fitted to my car- it's been stored the past year or 2. It's a bit of a nightmare to get it to Clark Motorsport as its around a 3 hour drive each way. I could borrow a van to get it there if required. Cheers
Madhatter Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 I'd so have that boot off you - cash today if you were closer or I trusted a good courier That's sooooooo gorgeous
Neilp Posted March 2, 2015 Author Posted March 2, 2015 lol it is beautiful. A wee trip to Scotland would be worth it. Weekend up north and then collection on the way home
Neilp Posted March 4, 2015 Author Posted March 4, 2015 People are scared to travel to Scotland I'm still in two minds about just fitting it to the car haha
hensh65 Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 You would be as well as, not get one of the boys vans and take a wee road trip down and get some karting on the way?
Grundy Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 People are scared to travel to Scotland I'm still in two minds about just fitting it to the car haha Fit it! So I don't have to keep thinking about buying it.... 1

Grundy Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Lol! Come for a visit and I'll do you a deal This is one of those items that was never on my list of things to get... Too many important things I need first + I'd want to drill holes into it
Neilp Posted March 25, 2015 Author Posted March 25, 2015 I was going to drill holes in it also get it bought. Think of how easy the car will go sideways when you drop all that weight 2
Neilp Posted March 25, 2015 Author Posted March 25, 2015 Guys i'm open to sensible offers on the oil cooler and boot. Please don't be afraid to message with a price. If its below what I want I will try and meet in the middle somewhere
DJ350zUK Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 How easy is it to fit this bootlid? Is it a straight swap and just need to bolt on the hinges, struts and the boot latch?
Neilp Posted March 25, 2015 Author Posted March 25, 2015 Pretty much as your describing mate. Not a hard job to change over. Need to get the glass swapped over also, or Keyser has one at his place for a good price.
