My search for a valet service in South Lanarkshire was fruitless but thanks to the very kind nature of Sy1441, my car was fully valeted.

He took the time and made the effort to bring my car back to pristine condition. Sy, members like you are a rare breed, my warmest thanks mate.

It's people like Sy, that makes my and all the other lads and lasses risks and privations in Afghanistan and the likes, worth it and also to being a member of a great community like ours here.

Sy, post away any pictures you want buddy and I'll see you soon.

Thanks again for your kind words George.

Was a pleasure working on your car and glad you are pleased with the result. It's what having a community on a forum is all about!

My favourite picture is this one, shows Iron-X is worth the outlay!

One thing lacking

I can see it was not given a good 'airing' out on the roads to make sure the discs are nice and shiney :D

Well I do each and every wash :surrender::lol:

Test drive opportunity missed there :drive1

Fun bit aside - full marks to Sy1441 for the work done

If a jobs worth doing its worth doing right as the old saying goes!

I usually use Iron-X to get the disks shiny if i'm not going to be driving the car but it takes a lot of product, only had half a bottle left and used it all on the bodywork, and as you said Ebized they clean themselves with some good braking lol!

Went out to mine this morning and it had a coating of black dust circles on it, got a quick foam, wash, dry, hoover and spray with QD. Grey skies once again hide the shine!
