Roland Rat Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Ok all, now I know this has been done before.....but just want to canvas some opinions, what are people's thoughts on Kumho tyres? Now I know Ekona and one or two others will say MPSS and I understand that they are probably the best? .....but I haven't got a fortune to spend and the Kumho seem like a good tyre for the money and reading reviews they seem to be pretty good, so over to you all opinions welcome. SJ350z Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 I've run Kumhos on some of my old hatchbacks and would say for the money they are a good buy Not sure how they feel on a Zed though !! Lots of factors to consider like your driving style, mileage and budget. Can't see how they would be a bad buy to be honest Quote
lmc Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Had them on the z when i first bought it. Handled fine with good grip levels. Quote
KyleR Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 (edited) Which Kumho's? I have 19" KU39's on mine and they are more than up the job of fast road driving. I haven't had a scare in them yet and it gets pushed pretty hard sometimes. Edited August 23, 2014 by KyleR 2 Quote
GMballistic Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Kumho or Falken will do the job nicely on a mid range budget. Thread from last week; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/89348-27530r19-kumho-or-falken/ Quote
Shane Brede Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Got conti's on mine and the biggest difference was after I had the wheel alignment done cost a bit but now it feels like it's on rails even when having fun. 18 inch approx £670 fitted a set. Quote
codders Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Happy with my Nokian zlines for £430 fitted (using tyreleader as a supplier) http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre-Size/18-Inch-Tyres/245-45-18-Tyres.htm http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Nokian/zLine.htm Quote
