wackosr Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Hi, my clutch finally died this weekend, lots of slipping when putting the power down, so time for a replacement. It is the original one and has nearly done 80k. Looking for a replacement that won't cost the earth and would be suitable for the odd track day etc. Car is a standard 53 plate GT. Cheers Steve. Quote

Ewen@Clark Motorsport Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 The single mass flywheel is lighter therefore allows the engine to rev more freely, as it has no moving parts unlike the DMF it generally gives no issues. They are not for everyone though, there is increased idle chatter from idle to around 1500rpm so if extra noises is not your think stick with the DMF.
