ZZZ_2306 Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Picked up my car today! Bloody love it! 2010 Paddle Coupe GT Pack. Now I have parked up at home and everyone now and again (it's happened 3 times now) I can hear a "beep beep...... Beep beep" alarm chime? Any ideas? Both keys inside the house, I can see the immobiliser light enabled and steady flashing as it should. Quote
GMballistic Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Have you checked all the doors and windows are shut properly? Just a thought. Quote
ZZZ_2306 Posted June 28, 2014 Author Posted June 28, 2014 Yep just checked that all fine! it's strange hasn't done it again yet so I will wait and see Quote
GMballistic Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Wish I had a 370 and then maybe I could help you more. Hopefully it won't happen again or if it does some of the more insightful 370 owners might pop in to help. Quote
busa1300 Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Are you getting a key warning on the dash if so batteries need changing in the fob. Kev Quote
ZZZ_2306 Posted June 28, 2014 Author Posted June 28, 2014 I don't think so when the car is locked all that is showing when I look in a steady flash of a car symbol with a key in it which is just to say the immobiliser is on correct? Quote

Paddy78 Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 False alarm turns out it was the neighbours car LOL I feel your pain though, I'm forever looking out of the window when I hear an alarm. I have no idea what our 3 series' sounds like? Quote
GMballistic Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 False alarm turns out it was the neighbours car LOL Pmsl. Guess that's good news. Makes me think of the other week when I was driving home from work and I suddenly started hearing this terrible thump/knock noise whilst stopped at traffic lights. Drove off and the noise was still there, ..in fact it was there the entire journey home, ...that is until the car behind which was actually making the terrible noise turned off. I was so relieved.
