Hi peeps, just driven back via the most fraught m25 journey ever, stop start stop start and the pedal went right to the floor, still had bite and pull but just really short pedal, finally got into fast traffic on the A3 and the pedal returned and fine all the way home, is this just my car telling me to replace my clutch fluid ?

Thanks in advance

Could be the slave cylinder? I had a similar issue with mine and once replaced (with also a braided line and fluid) it has not happened since.

Edit: I think Clark Motorsport sell a kit.

Slave and/or master cylinder.

Do yourself a favour and replace both: Yes, it's usually just the slave, but the cost of the extra part is peanuts compared to the cost and time of bleeding the system through. You really don't want to be doing that twice if you can help it...

Snap here, traffic with no air flow + hot day = pedal to floor. Kit above cured it for me too.

Before you disconnect anything, find the clutch bleeding guide. Good luck.

Don't ask, don't get. Go for it. If they demand evidence, it might be tricky to recreate but some time at idle on hot day may recreate it on demand if you are lucky.
