gareth29 Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 sorry if this has been posted already - i caught sight of it while investigating the VPL triangle! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2641834/Mr-Bean-saves-day-Rowan-Atkinson-helped-save-McLaren-F1-drivers-life-horror-crash-Tuscany.html Quote
Fodder Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Bit of a none news article really but using "mr bean saves f1 drivers life" even though correct is a bit misleading to the general public. Also nothing different from a zed owner taking care of a fellow zed owner out on a club organised drive. Kudos to the guy really Quote
350 Russ Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 I'm currently working a few houses down from where he lives and apparently he's a nightmare, always complaining about noise, skips etc. One of the chippys walked past him a couple of weeks back and said morning rowan to which he got blanked, bit of a pretentious p**** allegedly. WhackyWill Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Old problem "Nut loose behind the wheel"..!! Quote
GMballistic Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 One thing I did read was that Rowan's Mclaren F1 that he bought for £630K odd with some of the money he made from the first Mr Bean film is apparently worth around 3.5million today!. Now that's one hell of a good investment especially as he's crashed it once and obviously clocked up some miles in it. 1 Quote

Got to admit I'd complain about excessive noise and skips also, maybe that's just me being old. Quote
