JDM remap vs UK remap

Hopefully going for a remap shortly. This might be a quick answer but as im not sure i'll ask! Is the JDM remap the same as the uk uprev? Assuming a remap will be removing speed restrictions not present on uk cars but is the same ecu/interface used?

As far as I know the Uprev's are the same, it'll remove your silly 112mph limit as it does with our 150mph.

Yes but you need a steering wheel with cruise to select through them.

To my knowledge RevUp and HR 350's are the only ones that can hold more than one map

No if you have a JDM car you can have mutli maps , your need a JDM cruise switch set up thou;

 

ONLY cars that cant have MULTI MAPS are the CD700/CD800 Calibrations which is UK 276bhp (DE) cars due to UK legislation for the Factory fitted immobilizer system
