In play if you cook baked beans in a pan?

 

I've recently gone back to this as the other half changed our baked bean brand and they didn't taste quite right. Now however they taste great!

 

This is serious you know and just to show you how much so.... :shrug::surrender::lol:

Pan FTW, I think you pay more attention in the pan and that reduces the risk of them going critical, microwaves wants to heat everything to a million degrees.

 

HP are the best BTW ;)

You see I agree about the bean juice, it does seem thicker and runny bean juice just isn't right. :surrender:

 

I used to like the Branston beams but she doesn't so it's tesco own brand :(

It used to be the light one until she realised there was absolutely no difference other than price :lol:

Cooking beans on the hob will reduce the sauce so they become thicker, as opposed to the microwave that will just heat it.

 

So yeah, it tastes better.

Some hot sauce in them beans is always nice :)

I've put tobasco in before now; it would be rude not to use some "100% pain" I have in the cupboard :thumbs:

 

Edit: bloody iPhone changed tobasco to tobacco. Maybe I should efag it :lol:
