14N Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 If it does sling it down, just degrease the engine bay and leave the bonnet open Nice dampers BTW 1 Quote
zed 1990 Posted January 13, 2014 Author Posted January 13, 2014 apart from the filter is there any other bits ill need to cover before i unleash the hose on it ?? Quote
WhackyWill Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 apart from the filter is there any other bits ill need to cover before i unleash the hose on it ?? Don't hose it ..!!! Find a proper steam cleaning garage and have them do it for you cost about £20. I was only joking about it not starting..!! Its a very clean engine now... Quote
zed 1990 Posted January 13, 2014 Author Posted January 13, 2014 ive got attacments with a mister which should be fine just bought degreaser and other bits so its getting done at home Quote
KyleR Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 You'll need to cover all electrical connections with cling-film otherwise you risk the chance of something shorting out. I would personally disconnect the battery too to be on the safe side. But seriously, you'll need hot water, i.e. steam to get the best out of it. Quote
zed 1990 Posted January 14, 2014 Author Posted January 14, 2014 clean complete allot of corrosion still but a big improvement for now Quote

:RedZed: Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Looks good. To finish it off, grab a bottle of 303, spray it on, weep with joy: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/interior/303-aerospace-protectant/prod_366.html Quote
