Jared350z Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 I have IT skills in Pornhub and Milfhunter.com. Can I have a job? Promise I'll always delete my browser history 1 Quote
Flex Posted October 10, 2013 Author Posted October 10, 2013 No interview and Jared I have enough skills their for 2 people, although a bit under qualified on milf sites tbh. 2 Quote
Jared350z Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 you can never have enough skills in that department. god bless the internet ha ha Quote
HaydnH Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 For some jobs social media is a big plus, think I'd at least want them to state social media with the sites in brackets though. 1 Quote
ChrisS Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 A lot of Financial Institutions/Banks,Insurance Companies etc. now have a 'social media' section/department to research potential customers and employees. So it is an IT 'skill' same as 'brushing your teeth' is a hygiene 'skill'. Not sure about putting one foot in front of the other is a 'skill' yet though. Quote

AliveBoy Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 I'm always tempted to put "common sense" under my life skills Quote
HaydnH Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 The AA coming on this forum and asking someone (twobears?) to contact them regarding a complaint she posted could be an example. Quote

AliveBoy Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 I'm always tempted to put "common sense" under my life skills Why would you lie though to try and get a job interview duh Quote
AliveBoy Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 Silly me! However I'm not looking for a job, so I can proclaim that I have zero common sense at all Quote
Stutopia Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 I found that if you're sifting CVs and you get a single one where the applicant can correctly use less and fewer, to and too, and deploy an apostrophe - you don't need to worry about any of their other skills, just grab hold of them, they can be trained to do almost anything else! They have proved they have attention to detail, English skills and actually give a @*!# about the material they're distributing about themselves, oh, and also about getting a job 2 Quote
AliveBoy Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 You need to conduct an interview though, if they say pacific instead of specific they need a drop kick out of the door! 1 Quote

chubbster Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 Always be sure you include the phrase, "I never log onto car forums during working hours.", if you want an interview. Quote

Flex Posted October 10, 2013 Author Posted October 10, 2013 Always be sure you include the phrase, "I never log onto car forums during working hours.", if you want an interview. I'm recruiting, I don't feel the need to disclose that to the applicant! Quote
