Because she had a kid in the car which they spotted and didn't want to risk injuring it which is rather noble considering the danger she was putting them in. I wonder why she did it. They spend ages trying to get car theifs to stop without shooting so why different this time. When I first turned it on she was hoofing it away so makes you wonder the reason. Was the child her daughter? Quote
