Can this be replaced?

This cover is the most horrible thing and ruins my interior IMHO. I bought the car with it like this and no idea how the previous owner did this but is it possible to replace this cover and is there any advice on a breaker that would sell me one of these?

Yes, but there's a few different types and you need to make sure you get the right one.

Errrrmmm, well it's an 04 plate gt spec if that helps any lol?

 

I know there are some options like the sat nav or the jdm electric opening version but just though it was a generic item?

I doubt anyone will just sell you the plastic shutter.These are basically plug and play and and you get the whole unit with the gauges.People buy these all the time for jap imports to convert K-miles.

 

Plenty of people breaking uk cars that are selling these as a whole.Not sure of price though.

Mine is even worse than yours mate, must be quite common. I'm planning on trying to paint it or something first. I'd be interested to see what these cost to replace too.

I touched up a couple of places on the Rev/ Speedo pod tops. Halfords high temp Satin Black is a perfect match.

You may struggle to match the original colour so try a contrasting one instead (admittedly I have changed the shade of blue since)
