14N Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 That's why you should read broadsheets instead of tabloids - Larger coverage area when using as masking. And to add to your list Dave......Kathy Lloyd Quote

LloydV Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 I find its a lot easier to not tape anywhere near as close to where you are spraying, any edge will form a natural tear when you pull it away with dip, makes a much finer edge than with tape. Quote
spursmaddave Posted July 10, 2013 Author Posted July 10, 2013 Yeah first attempt not too bad but as lloyd says leave a bigger overspray so you can tear it off easier, messed mine up in a couple of spots! Lloyd how long did you wait before removing the tape on they 4th coat? Quote
spursmaddave Posted July 10, 2013 Author Posted July 10, 2013 Not bad for a 1st attempt I suppose Quote

Good to know, I messed a bit up already, thought it would be better to take the tape off while it was still a bit wet Going to leave it alone now till the morning.... If it looks ok then the front bumper is coming off Quote
