My good luck continues.

I give up. Went to move my car down to wash it yesterday and the battery was flat. No big problem thinks me. Brought it down to the house and charged it overnight.

 

Went to connect it this morning and there was a big spark from the negative terminal. There is no charge showing on the guage but the headlights are on full beam and the indicators are contantly on.

 

Anyone got any ideas. I think I may have fried the ecu.

Check fuses by positive connector! Might blew one of them up? I did few months back...paid 60 odd quid to get new one from Nissan as its 1 whole assembly

The is a little box with fuses on the positive 99% it will be that and then check the other fuses too.

There are 5 fuses in the block and inspection is easy.

Thanks Alex, fortunately the car in where it needs to be for the weekend. Great timing as ever.

Mine did this and it was just the battery was totally flat, even after charging.

 

I couldn't get my headlights to switch off for about 8 hours.

 

All fuses were totally fine, just replace the battery and she should be fine.
