scoota80 Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 Right guys Onest opinions please with red or not Quote
Ian Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 A few years ago yes. TA style went out of fashion a while back Quote
scoota80 Posted June 4, 2013 Author Posted June 4, 2013 yeah thats what i thought.. it might look a bit tacky im wanting the more stealthy look so i think il have to ditch the red rim Quote
CrumbMC Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 I like it. black wheels on black can look a bit lost imho unless you have propper batmobile styling Quote
ATTAK Z Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 If you want stealth, ditch the orange reflectors for smoked , and take a look at TADDY's car Quote
scoota80 Posted June 4, 2013 Author Posted June 4, 2013 Yeah I'm getting rid of them... That's exactly who's car I've been looking at haha Quote
Mopedmark Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 I personaly prefer standard gold but it does suit the black. As for looking at someone else's car that's fine but do your own thing mate just twist it a little if you get my meaning Quote
scoota80 Posted June 4, 2013 Author Posted June 4, 2013 yeah i no what u mean mate.. its not gunna be the same as his just has gave me a few ideas of how id like it to look thinking of the ing's side skirts maybe with the nismo v1 or 2 front bumper not sure about the rear yet Quote
mattross1313 Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 As said above, black on black can really hide the wheel. The red lip really helps bring a little colour to it. My better half had a purple stripe on her old mr2, looked great Quote
AliveBoy Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 the red stripe stops the alloy from looking like you have steelies on. Makes the alloy look bigger in the pic as you can see where the tyre stops and the rim starts. Not a fan of the red calliper though. Quote
aidan Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Im opposite mate.....hate the standard gold colour on the calipers....so like the red better . Considering it myself, either painting red or silver with black decals. Quote
brillomaster Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 i like the red rims, stands out. Although not with the standard orange reflectors on! Quote

Considering it myself, either painting red or silver with black decals. It's funny, I never used to either and then I thought about how many saxo owners etc paint their callipers red and stick brembo decals on their cars and decided that they were staying the original colour for authenticity 1 Quote
