richmillions Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Maybe a little off topic, but why would you weld the diff? Quote
Paddy78 Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Is it for better / easier drifting? I assume you weld it so that the inside wheel still spins as fast as the outer? Please don't be mean to me if I'm totally wrong! Quote

Close enough Inside wheel out side wheel makes no odds if you weld the diff the back wheels are locked together always turn at the same speed - great for sliding - horrid to drive the car round corners slowly Quote
Paddy78 Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 horrid to drive the car round corners slowly Why would anyone want to do that anyway! Quote
The Chubby Ninja Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 did you weld it like this? How/where is it meant to be welded? (Just out of interest, ive not just had an "oops" moment lol) Quote
peteman35 Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 (edited) I read if you look in the brake res there is a plug going into the cabin that goes into the traction control unit. told to pull that out then the abs and everything is disabled. I THINK Edited April 9, 2013 by peteman35 Quote
Keyser Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 How many horse power does it take to turn that then Rich? Quote
AliveBoy Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 I think you'd probably need one of those machines which measure insane amounts of torque! Although that would probably just twist the shafts! Quote
