The general view of late is that you won't get much better than Michelin Pilot Super Sport . If I was buying right now, that's what I would get.

I use falken 452s on my 20" BBS wheels, not as good as MPSS but cost £600 instead of £1400 needed for tyres

 

I've done trackdays on 452's and their grip is better than my ability! And they last 20,000k. Don't see how I would benefit from spending sooo much more personally.

I agree the 452's have been my limiting factor on track days.

 

I can go faster but the tyres say no.

 

Got some slicks for future use though so no longer an issue :thumbs:
