when i depress the clutch pedal now the is a dull click noise when it gets to about 3/4 down and the same again on the way up does not seem to happen when first driven but after a bit of use it starts anyone any ideas ?

It could be the spring mechanism, this happened on mine...

 

A really good soaking with white silicon grease once a week for a few weeks sorted it :thumbs:

 

It's awkward but you need to get your head under pointing up at the pedals and you will see the spring, then press the pedal in and you will see if this is the issue

I also had the click, it disappeared over a couple of weeks. I agree with SMD. Feels terrible and no matter how slow you use the pedal it does it.

The Halfords stuff is what I used.

 

Like I said get a torch and get your head in the driver footwell and you will see the clutch pedal assembly, its the spring and a tiny little catch that clicks at as you say about 30% of the way in.... A good few soakings and sorted, I do all my pedals now and again :thumbs:

quick update used the halfords white silicone three times (i gave it plenty !) now the noise has completly gone
