A really good soaking with white silicon grease once a week for a few weeks sorted it It's awkward but you need to get your head under pointing up at the pedals and you will see the spring, then press the pedal in and you will see if this is the issue Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Like I said get a torch and get your head in the driver footwell and you will see the clutch pedal assembly, its the spring and a tiny little catch that clicks at as you say about 30% of the way in....
