Iv been to view a car that I'm quite interested in but looking for some advice before purchasing. The rear subframe, I think iv seen it referred to a the K frame, appears to be heavily corroded, is this common? Does the subframe cause many problems? Any help would be much appreciated. Quote

sloutrou Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Look to see if there are any hairline cracks on either side, mine had one on each side!? and a new subframe involves dropping most of the rear of the car out, it's finding a garage who is prepared to do that sort of work. Quote
