Zedrush
Okay, I got offered quite a bit for my 350z even though I have or had no intention on selling it. But lets just say i was offered way more than what I paid for it, and the person i know is for real, he has more money than sense. clearly.... He wants to buy for his sons birthday (wish he adopt me) I wont say how much he offered but am in a Dilemma. If I sell my car Im thinking what else could I get for the same price as what I paid for it? Not really alot out there. I would not use the excess money I made on this sale as i would put that towards deposits on property which is in my opinion a much better investment. But then as my brain was ticking I came across this car and now I was thinking on blowing the how lot and a bit more on this... Now Im stuck looks awesome but is it worth it? So here are the questions: Should I stick with my Z? Should I sell it and invest excess on property and by something else for what I paid for it, wont be as nice? Should I sell it and pay a bit more and get the Mustang 419bhp? Help
GC350z
Or sell it, buy another Z and invest excess. Guy
Billy7766
I think you need to ask yourself, would I prefer to round corners, or through them? Should simplify things a bit!
Chesterfield
Nice, but its LHD. Which would make overtaking and general driving just that bit more annoying. Doesnt matter to some people, but it would bother me. Then again its a very nice car. I can see why you are in a dilema. If I were in the same position, I would buy another Z with the cash and put the extra toward a deposit for property, or in my case pay for an upcoming holidy, or sort out the bodykit for the Z. Zedrush
Or sell it, buy another Z and invest excess. Guy Yeh but to get the zed to be like mine would need an extra 18k worth of work. My Zed is pretty unique and am always one to want my car to stand out
M13KYF
looks awesome but wouldn't like driving around a city with speed bumps. Think the front end will soon be ripped off

My Zed is pretty unique and am always one to want my car to stand out Buy a yellow one then You can get a Z to stand out for a lot less than 18k, kit, wheels and a few other goodies would do the trick wouldn it. In true gameshow style..... The choice is yours...
AndyC
Mate if you've got an offer for more than you paid for her, take it, thats not going to happen again. As Chesterfield says you could do a lot to a Z for less than £18k. Either that or pick up one already modded again.
sl114
Buy mine
Sarnie
Sell it mate. You may tire of the zed in 6 months time and no other punter is gonna pay more than you paid for it Personally, I'd sell it and buy another zed and do it up with the extra dough
Jacko
I think you need to ask yourself, would I prefer to round corners, or through them? Should simplify things a bit! I agree with Billy. Its still got the old "live axle" design...... can't put all that power down through corners, and still wobbles like a boat! Looks mean though! Zedrush
looks awesome but wouldn't like driving around a city with speed bumps. Think the front end will soon be ripped off Am okay with speed humps as am use to being ultra careful in mine as mine is stupidly low, just go up em at an angle. Dont these mustangs have powersteering? So cornering would be easy no??
Jacko
Dont these mustangs have powersteering? So cornering would be easy no?? its the age old back end axle design that stops you going around corners properly! Although don't think the steering is the best...... read so many reviews on them.... Did you not see Top Gear where they couldn't get any decent cornering and just went around in a cloud of smoke?
M13KYF
think the only way to improve the rear suspension is to go for the Roush stage2 kit. Supposed to be a big improvement
Rob_Quads
I would say sell yours and then buy another Z - enjoy a little holiday or something else on the profit. No brainer IMO

nixy
I hate to say it but that car looks like a mid life crisis - I hate it! (don't shoot me it's just my personal opinion). On the other hand if you've been offered more than you've shelled out on the Z i'd take it and start again............with a Z!

Dan
Should I sell it and invest excess on property and by something else for what I paid for it, wont be as nice? So your saying your making enough profit on this deal to "invest the excess in property" !!! Do you want a job, I could use a new salesman ;-)

So your saying your making enough profit on this deal to "invest the excess in property" !!! Do you want a job, I could use a new salesman ;-) Lol I got it at a really good price, extremely good so for what ive been offered Im guarenteed to make some anyway even if I sell a year later. Made profit on my last two Audi TT's, just gotta haggle with salesmen. Most salesmen if trade always will knock of at least of 600-700 pounds if you offer to buy in full. Private sellers, I was lucky and knocked of five grand, all because I knew he didnt care about the money cos he was the great grandson of Robinsons drinks, (that was lucky otherwise no way would I be able to buy for the price I did) Im gonna sell it, but first gonna get the wheels cleaned up and refurbed, buy new tyres all round, get the seats cleaned, stone chips taken care of and other stuff, and get RAC to check and give a full certificate of its current condition. I cant sell a car that is not in prestine condition, thats just not my style. Even though Ive already been offered money for it. Then with the money buy another 350z in black, hopefully with nismo kit and nice wheels, then the rest put in bank and next year put towards my deposit with my other saving for a new place to rent. Just in two minds about selling to the guy as his son is only young and a bit reckless, and ill be damned if I see my car wrapped around a lamppost. My last TT after sold was found on its head. Even though wernt mine still pisses me off. And this car now I want to see looked after as alot gone into it. Cheers guys for all your help.
