I would of preferred Ennis to win, shocked Mighty Mo didnt even finish in top 3.... Olympic stadium was moving when he won

I never dreamed that in my lifetime a Brit would win the Tour De France and add to that his other wins this season and his Gold at the Olympics really made him a cert for me. I had Jess in second and Mo in 3rd but this really was an epic year for British sport. If you look back at some of the previous winners then it goes to show just how bad a state we were in just a few years ago. Interesting fact though, no English born winner since 2006.
