Never used one. But Japspeeds exhausts are pretty badly made. An oil sump is a lot more important than an exhaust...

Saying that it is cheap and you COULD have no problems. But if you do have a problem with it, it will be costly. Maybe check on the US site and see what they are running.

That looks very simlar to my APS sump except the oil drain is on the side not the bottom, even with my APS the alloy is not the greatest casting, I would think it was on a par with the one you linked to.

I like mine helps with oil temps and has the extra holes for the SC oil return and a temp gauge pickup, as does the one in the link.

Good luck with it if you go that way.

Can anyone recommend improved sump options (whether baffled and/or increased volume, and any other systems) to help prevent oil surge during high G's on track etc? Would be good to see what people are running and how they find them? And maybe a guide on the price.

Thanks,

Craig.

Either save up and do it properly or don't do it at all  Just my two penneth - if you fit Japspeed you might as well put your cash in the fire and then go buy something decent

If your fitting the trust sump to an hr z then it won't fit with the standard oil cooler/heater installed. Most expensive sump install I've ever undertaken, I've had to get a gtm sc kit in order to fit mine!
