The smileys are still the same so must have been the transfer.... There are still a few glitches here and there like the member join dates i.e. Mike has over 25k posts since June

the join date only affects those members who were here for the testing. :ninja:

Yeah I noticed.... Is there going to be anyway of changing them back?

I should be able to change the join date back yes. As for the smilies, they should have all been corrected when the posts were re-written to the database - though Im guessing there were some topics locked as people were reading them when I did that re-write process, thats whats borked the smilies in some posts. A quick click of the edit button on any of the posts that have the issue, change nothing and then click save should bring them back, as the code for each of the smilies is the same.

Thats weird. When I edit the posts and retype the same code, it replaces the taxt with the correct smiley. If I simply dont edit the text and leave the smiley code as is and click save, then it doesnt fix the issue. Hmmph. Will need to think.

Some of them appear to have become images rather than smiley code in the text, which then are referencing the wrong place on the server. So if they'd been kept as text (as per the old forum) then it would work fine, but as the new software seems to convert them to images for a lot of them (no idea why) then this has broken it.
