ioneabee Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Once I get the damn locking nuts off - am thinking of these - anyone tried them ? Quote
glrnet Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Got them on the 350 and really pleased with them but I thought they had been discontinued Quote
glrnet Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 available on camskill PM Ebized, he has them on the 370 and rates them highly Quote
philb1965 Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Not sure of prices or if you are a member, but Costco have there 6 monthly 20% off 4 tyres starting tomorrow. Michelin PSS might be worth a go. Quote
Ebized Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 available on camskill PM Ebized, he has them on the 370 and rates them highly For the price (around £760 for a set in Sept 2011), I have found them excellent and very predictable with the TC off, noting the other thread currently running Like glrnet, I had understood they were being discontinued. Seeing a set MPSS for the 370 can be had for under a grand now that is likely to be my next choice. Quote
ioneabee Posted November 4, 2012 Author Posted November 4, 2012 where from ? camskill are quoting £1138.96 Quote
Ebized Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 where from ? camskill are quoting £1138.96 Here for example http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/64381-4-michelin-ss-ordered/page__st__20 Quote
ioneabee Posted November 4, 2012 Author Posted November 4, 2012 ah, yes - so add 555 miles round trip and 10.5 hours driving time (in a straight dash up the M4, round london and back again) at say £150 for fuel + time I'll also need a new set of tyres by the time I get back home again Quote
rob63 Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 I've had 2 sets on my 350, great tyre all round IMHO. Down side is I've never manged more than 9k out of a set, there's always going to be trade off... Quote
Will370z Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Timely post this, i'm after new tyres for rosie. Going for the pilot super sports Quote
ioneabee Posted February 16, 2013 Author Posted February 16, 2013 Having hunted around a little and giving the local garages the choice between PSS and the Vreds - the vreds being very difficult to get hold of, but some are managing it - spoke a 2nd time to one garage, who gave a great price on the vreds, just to confirm it - i then had a phone call the next day saying they were in and ready for me (don't recall actually saying "yup - get them ordered" ???) However, at just over £800 for the 4 I think thats pretty good - so will be getting them fitted in about a fortnight or so - told them hang on as I felt I still had about a thousand miles left in the Bridgestones (just) Quote
Guest Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Got a full set of these on mine & very impressed, also had them on previous 3.0 gtv, your lucky still available, as mentioned above thou, not that long lasting Quote
ioneabee Posted May 4, 2013 Author Posted May 4, 2013 How does that song go..........."slip sliding away............" 4 new boots now fitted as others have said amazed at the difference - tyre noise virtually gone and no tramlining either Quote
sipar69 Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 I'm due new tyres in a few months - reckon I'll go for the PSSs as well. Quote
ioneabee Posted May 4, 2013 Author Posted May 4, 2013 these are vredsteins Sipar cost = £780 for the 4 PSS were coming in at over £900 Quote
Will370z Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 So the zeds all sorted now then andy, just got to sort the driver skills out now lol Quote
philb1965 Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 (edited) £780 is a good price, but £900ish for the PSS is good as well! Are these fitted prices and where from? Ta. Edited May 4, 2013 by philb1965 Quote
ioneabee Posted May 4, 2013 Author Posted May 4, 2013 MPSS price I had was actually £920 - but there was an offer on from Michelin knocking £40 off, bringing actual down to £880 local garage to me - http://www.stoddarttyres.co.uk/ Quote
sipar69 Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Are the Ultrac Vortis the successor to the Sessenatas? They seem to get good reviews. . Quote
