My Burgers fallen off :(

Just a quick one.. while the guy who cleans my zed was pressure blowing the bonnet, the burger badge came off.. any idea what I would fix this back on with? Can someone link me to something I can buy?

 

My front end looks naked without it

Get yourself a Zed burger if you havent already...or just go buy double sided tape (number plate tape works) and stick it back on!

ive got a spare burger just wasnt sure whether to glue or tape it back on

Tape will work fine, it will have originally been taped on, avoid glue me thinks.

If it's not a Zed burger, take this opportunity to get one off of eBay because sometime the badges can be bitches to get off.

And to stop it falling off again, make sure you clean, polish and make totally dry the recess otherwise the adhesive will give way in a short time

not mine mate, i was at beaulieu motor museum jap car show....was more than likely Ironhide(CHRIS) looks very similar to mine

Ah righty, didnt clock the plate as it was quite far away and i was too lazy to walk over There must have been 7 or 8 zeds in the carpark/field

Mastic. Much less fiddly than tape, which I find never seems to really stick properly.

Well hard to know what it's worth really, ive popped it on here and piston heads for just a tad under £7k.. not sure if thats optimistic or not though

Or try ebay for 3M VHB tape (very high bond)

And if you do buy some from eBay, get a coat of lacquer on them. My satin ones corroded - yes corrosion. I know have a set that have been lacquered so hopefully will be more resilient to the environment.

My ones are past their best too. I just dont want to spray them black though. Maybe pink?
