dragon Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 Anyone had this problem, after any amount of rain when i open the door water falls out. Quote
Bobbyheinz Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 Yep and I keep meaning to post up about it! Anyone know how to fix this? Quote
BulletMagnet Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 It's perfectly normal, only way to fix it is to move to a country with no rainfall. Quote
ChrisB Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 I do have an easy fix for this: park with the nose down hill. Mine collects water but only when parked nose up. Water gets in and gets trapped below the back of the door, but seems to drain ok from the front of the door. I suppose if you are parking on a flat you maybe stuffed however. Quote
spursmaddave Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 Same as when you have the drivers window open and wash the windscreen Quote
Will370z Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 Think on the bright side, at least with your car the water filters outwards, on my old roadster it used to filter in and soak the passneger footwell Quote
chettle Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 Same as when you have the drivers window open and wash the windscreen does my F****** nut in.... but i learnt to wash the windscreen with the windows closed! Quote
Lexx Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 For the OP - have a look where the doors water-seal is. The 'problem you have described isn't a problem. It's outside of the seal. Quote

Same here....park nose up and water collects....park nose down (even slightly) and no water . The car should not do this though Quote
waltzinblack Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 I have this too. Glad to hear it never seems to actually soak anywhere that causes a problem (just the sill) but I don't remember it happening before the last few months. Surely it isn't SUPPOSED to happen from the factory? Quote
dragon Posted August 5, 2012 Author Posted August 5, 2012 Thanks guys, had the same prob with bm m sport never could fix it changed door seals inward and out drilled extra drain holes, gave up in the end Quote
