Water trapped between sill & door

I do have an easy fix for this: park with the nose down hill. Mine collects water but only when parked nose up. Water gets in and gets trapped below the back of the door, but seems to drain ok from the front of the door.

I suppose if you are parking on a flat you maybe stuffed however.

Same as when you have the drivers window open and wash the windscreen :surrender:

For the OP - have a look where the doors water-seal is. The 'problem you have described isn't a problem. It's outside of the seal.

Same here....park nose up and water collects....park nose down (even slightly) and no water :). The car should not do this though

I have this too. Glad to hear it never seems to actually soak anywhere that causes a problem (just the sill) but I don't remember it happening before the last few months. Surely it isn't SUPPOSED to happen from the factory?
