My boot doesnt stay up due to my spoiler being to heavy for the struts and I dont know where to get the struts re-gassed to a higher pressure. All you will do is remove weight from a point that it's actually quite useful - over the driven wheels. I done this the other week...took about 10 mins and couldn't believe it had taken me over a year to get round to doing it It worked for me, my boot now opens in one press and it doesn't fall on my head now. WhackyWill Posted February 2, 2013 Share Posted February 2, 2013 Easy tip for removing the plastic trim in the boot to get to the boot weight.
