They were supremely cool back in the day when I were a lad, 13 and desperate for the best trainers out there, but now they just look a bit chav for me. Come to think of it, so do most trainers really.

Some people these days make me laugh, they are Air Jordan trainers....I.e. basketball trainers they are a functional sports trainer not a look at my $180 shoe!

 

Warranted a good piece of the price comes from the Jordan branding but from past experience my Air Jordan's were awesome for playing basketball in but I wouldn't wear them anywhere else except on the court bloody massive, heavy and useless day to day.

 

Running And1's at the moment due to the ridiculous price of the Air Jordan's when I bought my new pair for this season I'm well impressed by them

and i havent got any heavy air jordans in my collection. The idea of a basketball trainer was it to be light. I used to play basketball everyday and love my air jordans.

 

Nowadays the air jordan are a style icon in america, not used for their proper function and to be honest probably wont be any good performing their correct function
