Website host wanted

first off it's nothing to do with this site, it's for my own personal sites that i run

 

my current host is giving me nothing but headaches, sites going down for days, email not working etc etc so am after a new host

 

must have at least -

 

5+ sql databases (500mb+ each)

 

5GB+ storage/webspace

 

am currently paying around £60 for the year so looking for something similar priced

 

have seen http://order.1and1.co.uk/Hosting;jsessi ... ch.hosting

 

looking at their standard package

 

anyone recommend anything else

Professional and uptime is excellant have several clients running Wordpress and they are managing this themselves

I've used fasthosts for the 3 sites I'm helping friends with, not sure how the prices compare though as they're all on basic £6 a month packages.

 

Their support has been superb though!

Can't recommend TSOHost enough. Fantastic service over the past 4-5years, great price and if you have an issue, even at 3am, they normally reply within 5 minutes. Absolutely fantastic and I recommend them to anyone asking.

 

A good site to have a look at is http://www.ochostreview.co.uk/ a site setup by someone over on Overclockers Forums a while ago for rating/reviewing web hosts. Generally TSO or Vida come recommended by everyone on there.

I use hostpapa they have been great, any questions answered in minutes. I don't know if they will run all that you are asking for but they are a big enough so i assume so. they do have a cpanel thing like you say

thx TomS, just signed up with TSOhosts, a bit lower spec than i originally wanted but almost half the price

 

did a quick google search, loads of positive reviews for them, also found a -10% discount code,saved £3.50

 

setup was instant after payment via paypal, just transferring some files now
