deank93 Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 As per the title, if you had around a thousand quid and a standard 313 zed what would you do and why? I'm very happy with my cars look so I'm thinking performance mods rather than cosmetic. Quote
deank93 Posted September 3, 2011 Author Posted September 3, 2011 ....and I'd be getting whatever mods fitted because I'm rubbish at getting my hands dirty. Quote
Dblock Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 do you want to go faster, handle better make the interior nicer, Ice? Quote
deank93 Posted September 4, 2011 Author Posted September 4, 2011 do you want to go faster, handle better make the interior nicer, Ice? I wouldn't want to fiddle with the interior and I'm not too fussed about ice and as I don't use the car on track the standard handling set up more than copes the way i drive so I'd say performance. Do basic exahust/filter/remap type mods really make much difference to performance? does the 313 respond well to them and would I actually feel the difference from behind the wheel or is it more about the enhanced accoustics? I have always been a little synical about the real world difference those sorts of mods make to N/A cars. Quote
Lexx Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 A remap, whilst not giving massive power gains, drastically improves the power delivery. Makes the car feel more responsive and it also removes the barrier so that you get full throttle in all gears. For £1k I'd get a new front bumper (amuse or Nismo) and a remap done Quote

wesmin Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 I would keep the car exactly as it is and spend the 1000 on extra fuel so I could drive it for many more hours but then i'm an old guy whose boy racer days are long gone. Quote

DoogyRev Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 I think for £1K you would be lucky to get a Zorst and Uprev........ What about some HFC's and Uprev and if you have anything left over some nice new performance air filters or get some decent brake lines Quote
