Fuel cap - Air gasp/whoosh

When removing the fuel/petrol cap, what would cause a slight (1 second) gasp/whoosh of air?

Sounds like a vacuum of air (I can't tell if it's blowing or sucking), hissing when opening the cap to fill up.

Any ideas?

Most nissan petrol cars do it, to an extent. But if you feel it is very bad to the point you cannot get the cap off, it could be a blocked breather pipe. but unlikley

I can't feel any pressure at all, it's just the hissing sound after the cap is removed.

You should hear it on my HSV when I have ran the tank down.

It's been loud enough to make other people in the petrol station look round at me!

Nothing to do with the exhaust note then
