Willy P
Oh dear. Judging by the fact the rear wheel is buckled on the Ferrari I'd assume it was her fault. Savage. Ah well, that's what insurance is for. Classic rear ender going into a roundabout.
leonk
Shoot me down, but is it a real one? Just looking at the wheels, headlight fit and white fibreglass showing on rear quarter.
Stew
Shoot me down, but is it a real one? Just looking at the wheels, headlight fit and white fibreglass showing on rear quarter. It's the seats and the wiper that are bugging me......
leonk
Just about to mention seats and your post came up Stew!!
evilscorp
if you type 430 into google images they really are that ugly looking seats.
leonk
Ah.........Just noticed "Ferarri" in the title in inverted commas, is this a clue? if you type 430 into google images they really are that ugly looking seats. Have a look, different and count how many wipers a real one has!

evilscorp
its a bloody good fake, I do agree the light is wrong and the wiper looks suspect but the brakes look similar size etc.
Gibby
It's most definitely a fake!!! Looks completely wrong!!!
waltzinblack
Looking at that picture, I'd say it's deffo a fake, it doesn't look wide enough at all, and it doesn't seem to be high enough at the back, and the windscreen, seats and roll bars are different! To be honest I hate those fake kits... so I don't feel too sad for the 'Ferrari' at all. Glad everyone involved was OK though
Sarnie
who actually thought that was a real 430????

370nel
yes shes fine, and yes her fault as always . Definetley thought it didnt look quite right, but i did notice what looked to be a nice Ferrari V12 through the back window, or maybe thats a fake cover... Stew
The F430 is a V8 so no V12 in there.

choptop
What has the driver/insurance company said the car was? I know it by the by really, but what would the cost difference be between the kit car and a real Ferrari to get repaired?
narcotix
I could tell something wasn't quite right about that "Ferarri" when I saw the picture .. The front headlight doesn't even fit the bodywork properly ...
Ekona
It's a mk3 MR2. Easy to tell by the windscreen rake. /mr2 geek
wackosr
I would have said MR2 as well. When you compare both pics it's a long way off. Guess they hoping not to park next to one and a quick glance as it rolls by if enough to fool you. As least the claim won't be so bad now!! Enjoy the weekend.
