  1. Chassis brace mate. You won't be removing that without a bit of work. It'll turn the whole car a bit wobbly as well.
  2. I agree with this, seen 3 azures, a GM and a black locally....but no night blues! Its still rare I reckon Hannah x Seen a couple in the flesh round here. Lovely colour, subtle but when the sun hits it it looks lovely
  3. Always pleased to be a geek. First off rinse alloys with a watering can (hosepipe ban) Wash wheels with cheap car shampoo. Can't remember which. Rinse wheels with watering can again. Wash zorst with leftover shampoo Rinse Rinse entire body (2-3 watering cans) Wash with meguiars gold class car wash, using a noodle mitt. I didn't use the 2 bucket method as 1.) I was fed up with filling up buckets and watering cans and 2.) the car was relatively undirty anyway Rinse (another 2 watering cans) Dry with dodo juice orange plush drying towel as quick as possible before the sun evaporates all traces of water. Removed a few holograms and swirl marks with meguiars paint cleaner and polish (1 & 2) Then I used poorboys white diamond glaze Dodo juice purple haze wax Meguiars gold class endurance tyre gel Partridge in a pear tree. All in all it took 2 hours so not too bad. Mines a GM so not sure how purple haze will look on a blade. But I definitely recommend the glaze. It's really good gear.
  4. Yeah, don't listen to them. Most of those things are simple fixes that won't cost much if you have a go yourself. My sister said she met someone at a petrol station recently driving a silver import the other day (she drives a 06 black 350z) and she lives in southampton. Sounds like it could have been you.
  5. Just noticed you're just down the a23 from me. It has spacers on the rear but not the front. I'd heard it really dulls the response of the car so haven't bought front ones. Depends how annoyed I get with those massive cavernous wheel arches.
  6. Meguiar's gold class endurance tyre gel and a foam applicator pad. I get through so many of those applicator pads though. They seem to rip to shreds.
  7. I gave her a quick wash yesterday (well, 2 hours) and this is how she ended up: Boom!!! Not bad for a 8 1/2 year old car. I love it when she's shiny.
  8. ...so, leading on from my earlier comment. I found a Puss moth in my bath yesterday morning and she had laid 22 eggs in the bath. This is mother moth: and another one of her: Anyways, after a little bit of research it turns out they have a really interesting life cycle with a couple of different larval stages. They end up looking really weird. So, naturally I went and scraped all the eggs out the bath and put them in some tupperware with some willow leaves (their diet). Anyway, my cat (pictured below) decided last night that it would be a good idea to catch the moth again after it had been released in the garden yesterday morning. So, this morning I found her again by the front door but she had laid another 32 eggs. So I beat her to death with a shoe Just kidding
  9. Yeah man they're definitely hatchlings. I have awoken to some nature recently also. I will upload some photos...
  10. Oh dear Tracy, my sister manages fine and she's a massive girly girl. Man up
  11. This morning outside the newsagents. Black roof and boot lid, black RAYS. Anyone here?
  12. This is the best I've ever got. It's usually down below 20 though...
  13. I had this when I got to the new forest after hitting a plastic bag on the m27. Got stuck to my mid pipe and burnt and smelled for weeks. It was worth it though for the pacman feeling of eating a plastic bag ghost.
  14. I'm 25 but don't post on here enough for people to have any idea of my age. I feel old though, my back hurts, I'm always grumpy and I have 2 grey eyebrow hairs, which isn't enough to make me look "distinguished", they just look silly. I am reluctant to pluck them though. I get told that I act like a 10 year old by my fiancee at home and people at work have me down for being older....
  15. I'm a scientist. Professional geek.
  16. Good stuff man. One of my colleagues used to represent team GB flying rc planes 20-30 years ago. He still judges comps etc and it's his fault I am spending too much money on rc heli stuff. There's loads of hilarious photos of him on tinterweb too. No doubt you probably know him
  17. I have recently got rather obsessed with remote control helicopters. Anyone else got one? Im currently playing with an elite blade mcpx. Great fun. Just getting used to collective pitch and I've put it upside down twice (on purpose ). Needs a lot more practice though.
  18. Saw you driving away from sun alliance bridge. I can't believe I didn't see you before because you must have been waiting at the traffic lights facing me but I heard you go past and then noticed. Who was it?
  19. Dude, tyre dressing!!! Looks very nice apart from your very grey looking tyres. Good job
  20. Good work coldel. I think that looks brilliant.
  21. I find this chap really impressive too. Amazing really. Have a watch.
  22. That is a cool video. I learnt flamenco guitar about 7 years ago and it is very difficult. You can't beat Agustin barrios mangore though. He even sounds cOol when he speaks
