Mine too before lunchtime yesterday! :)

I was hoping to be about when they arrived to, er, sneak 'em off to be hidden in the garage but I had to go in to the office for a late day. Now, how do I convince Management they're to help keep the car clean - and I don't mean environmentally! ;)

JESUS CHRIST!!!!!!!! :drive1

Just had the car back, the HFCs fitted, the exhaust sounds :cloud9::cloud9::cloud9:

I need to look into the last standard OEM piece remaining, the Y pipe! Tarmac, are we going to have another group buy for Y pipes? What's going to be? Stillen, MotorDyne?

In terms of sound Amuse R1 Titanium Exhaust + Berk HFC = DREAM!!! Best sound ever to me! Will try to get some video out soon.

Thanks Tarmac!

I'm taking a short break from group buys lol

been catching up on the books this week so I need some recovery time.

Having said that, you know Tarmac loves a good group buy so I have got a little something up my sleeve.

Glad your happy guys, makes it all worth while.

As for Y-pipes, I don't think you can beat the Stillen. Sold plenty of them

Have them on eBay at £300 but do them for £250 delivered to Forum members

Fitted the HFC's today! This type of noise should be classed as PORNOGRAPHIC! :yahoo::yahoo::dance::dance:

The Berks have TOTALLY TRANSFORMEDthe Akro and the whole car to be honest :drive1:teeth::teeth: . The rev match is fooking immense sounding :band:

For anyone with an aftermarket exhaust, do yourself a favour, get the best out of it by adding a set of these :cloud9: I'm working later but will get a sound clip up tomorrow :yahoo:

Hi Guys,

Cast your mind back to delivery of the Berk HFC's, I got two decals with mine and today I decided to put them on the car, anyway, spent a good half hour prepping the location, put the first one on and I think it looks superb B) .

Went to put the second one on and it turns out it's black  , not good on an Ebisu Black car  Anyway my request is, have any of you still got one of these decals? Obviously the silver one, I can either do a swap for the black one or, if you're a sadist, hold me to ransom :p

I will, of course, pay P&P, so please, pretty please, can anyone help?

Here's what the silver looks like B)

Will someone please ban Tarmac from this forum? And while you are at it, Zmanalex too

Right then, not saying i actually *want* some Berks, but.......

.....what are they likely to do to an HR engined car with twin stillen intakes, ESR Y pipe and Greddy Spectrum elite rear section? I expect more exhaust noise...... but not really sure how much. Anything else? Is there a mild performance gain from the freer-flowing cats? Is there a risk of torque reduction thru the mid-range at all like you get with test pipes...?

How easy are these Berks to fit....a few bolts per unit and new gaskets (supplied with the kit?)

Jedi mind trick.... :starwars: Andy, you do want a lovely set of these Berk HFCs for your Zed...

Have a look at G mans posts as he purchased the same ones you will need for the HR, I really don't need to add much more to what George thinks about them, Hopefully mine will be fitted by Wales so you can have a listen after that pint you have bought me

Fitting kit comes with them, should be simple enough for a mechanic, increased air flow and light weight - better throttle response. Not sure of torque reduction but I wouldnt imagine so... re-map will get the most out of them performance wise

The intakes and exhaust set up you have, probably give you a fair bit of sound under load, the Berks will ENHANCE not be detrimental. There's no drone and, in fact, you would not know they were there under normal pootling about, but and it's a MAHOOSIVE JLO SIZE BUT, when you press your now correctly labelled LOUD pedal, it's really quite an, erm, orgasmicaltastic sound.

The throttle response was what really surprised me, the way my car behave's re going through the rev range is lightning quick. This may be because of the combiation the Akro provides, I have no Y pipe anymore, my secondary cats are also less restrictive and it's a straight through system. There is no drop off in torque, it still pulls from very low down and in any gear. Can't comment on decats/test pipes, but you would have to pay me to run them, on whether there is a drop of torque running them, Abbey or the likes could answer that I suppose.

Your call mate, but I for one would fully reccommend, I'm a very happy Z driver and the car now sounds like a muscle car should, with the "muscle" to back it up ;)
