JetSet Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 Great story, but the bikes shown in the photos look completely different Pete Quote
Husky Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 hwe modifed it over the years for his business Quote
bronzee Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 That's quite impressive. And looks to still be in good condition. Imagine the components that have been replaced due to wear and tear. Amazing. Quote
Chris`I Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 Dont think I could bare to sell a bike or car I'd had that long unless I seriously needed the money. I'd rather give it to another enthusiast that I knew would continue to ride it rather than it be put in a museum. Like the pics Before: After: Quote
Ebized Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 Just looking at those pics they even look like the same location, albeit with some new walls and pillars. Hats off to the guy though- just a shame he can't keep it. One of my clients has an old Harley he had as a lad, as a centre piece in a bay window of his lounge - quite a head turner when you first see it. Quote
